How To Cook Mangan Express Skinless Longganisa (Filipino Sausage)

Skinless Longganisa is a Filipino sausage without the casing. It is one of the most common Filipino breakfasts and is usually served with garlic rice (sinangag) and fried egg (itlog) - the combination is commonly known as "longsilog".

  • Add longganisa and water over medium heat
  • Simmer until water is reduced
  • Add oil
  • It will start to fry once water starts evaporating
  • Turn occasionally
  • Fry for 3 to 5 minutes or depending on your cooking preference
  • Remove from heat
  • Serve with garlic rice, fried egg and chopped tomatoes. Enjoy!
